Surgery Scheduler

Location: Fresno, CA

Pay Range: $18 - $22 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgery scheduling within a medical setting
• Spanish-speaking candidates preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Surgery Scheduler to join a busy medical practice in Fresno as a permanent member of the team. This role plays a vital part in coordinating surgical schedules, managing communication between patients, doctors, and hospital staff, and ensuring that all procedures are scheduled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule surgeries and medical procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Coordinate with patients, physicians, and hospital staff to confirm availability and resolve scheduling conflicts
• Maintain detailed records and update scheduling systems as needed
• Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries and providing scheduling updates
• Collaborate with team members to manage workflow effectively
