Job Description & RequirementsOpportunity:
\nRadiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating days off
\n• 40 hours per week with call and late stay requirements based on staffing needs
\n• Call requirements include one call shift every other week and one weekend call shift every 6-week schedule
\n• Weekend call coverage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every 6 weeks
\n• One late stay required during the week when not on call
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required with at least one prior travel assignment
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT or ARDMS, Cardiac Interventional (CI), CVT
\n• Preferred certifications: ACLS, ARRT Advanced
\n• Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional, Cardiac-Interventional, or Cardiovascular preferred but not required
\n• Skills required: C-Arm operation, contrast administration, biopsies, IR/Angio/Special Procedure experience
\n• Work with patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Perform comprehensive interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, and various vascular interventions
\n• Scrubs provided by facility
\n• Use Cerner charting system
\n• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
\n• DC license required and must be in hand at time of submission

\nThis major academic medical center operates as a 402-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital providing comprehensive interventional radiology services. The facility offers the complete range of vascular, nonvascular, and neurological image-guided procedures using advanced techniques and cutting-edge equipment. The interventional radiology department specializes in minimally invasive procedures including clot removal, vascular interventions, tumor treatments, organ drainage, and biopsies performed through tiny incisions with image guidance for maximum patient safety.
