In this role, you will promote OTT HydroMet's solar energy product lines to core customers, establish strong professional relationships, and achieve targets for profitable sales volume. This position will cover the Western Region of North America and can be remote or hybrid, depending on the candidate's location. **In this role, a typical day will look like:** - Developing and executing strategies to identify, engage, and expand business opportunities with direct and indirect channels through consultative selling, funnel management, and cross-selling. - Building trusted relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing solutions that advance their solar energy objectives. - Managing time and territory efficiently to maximize field engagement and customer impact. - Monitoring and staying informed of solar market and industry trends through collaboration, conferences, and publications. - Negotiating and executing customer-specific project contracts in collaboration with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Sales, Service, Customer Support). - Leveraging CRM tools for accurate forecasting, opportunity tracking, and KPI management. - Collaborating with leadership and sales operations to maintain a healthy and productive opportunity pipeline. **The essential requirements of the job include:** - 5+ years of sales or commercial experience in an industrial B2B environment; solar energy experience strongly preferred. - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse technical and commercial audiences. - Demonstrated proficiency in CRM systems for managing sales funnels and forecasting. - Ability to travel up to **50%** within the assigned region, with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. **About OTT HydroMet and Veralto:** When you join OTT HydroMet, you also join Veralto's global network of 16,000 associates who wake up every day determined to help our customers win. The compensation range for this role is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.
