We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN Day Shift opportunity in LaGrange, GA. This role is ideal for a highly skilled nurse with strong clinical judgment and a passion for delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse functions as an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team, ensuring that patients and families receive individualized care aligned with professional nursing standards. This position emphasizes collaboration, critical thinking, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Deliver patient-centered care tailored to age, culture, and condition
• Partner with patients and families through clear communication and education
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during rounds and care discussions
• Participate in quality improvement, research, and shared governance activities
• Serve as a resource, mentor, or preceptor when needed
• Ensure compliance with all professional, regulatory, and ethical standards

Required Qualifications

• Education:
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required
  • BSN preferred
• Licensure:
  • Active RN license (Single-State or Multi-State Compact)
  • Current BLS certification
• Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of recent direct patient care experience required
• Skills:
  • Strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and time management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
