Job Overview Wicked Dolphin is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Retail and Tasting Room Manager to lead our retail store and tasting room operations. This key role involves managing staff, delivering exceptional customer experiences, overseeing product sales and inventory, and creating a welcoming environment that highlights our craft spirits. The ideal candidate will be a team leader with a passion for craft distilling and hospitality, capable of inspiring staff and engaging visitors. Key Responsibilities Retail and Tasting Room Operations: Manage daily operations of the retail store and tasting room, ensuring smooth and welcoming service experiences for all guests. Staff Management: Hire, onboard, and train staff in sales, product knowledge, and customer service. Schedule and supervise team members, delegating tasks to ensure efficiency and high service standards. Deliver engaging and informative tastings and tours, creating memorable experiences for visitors. Address guest questions and provide excellent service to foster repeat visits and positive reviews. Drive sales by promoting products and distillery offerings. Achieve sales targets through effective upselling and customer engagement. Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate product replenishments. Design attractive displays that highlight our products and brand story. Handle daily administrative duties, including cash handling and reporting. Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards. Skills & Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in retail management, hospitality, or a related field. Proven leadership and supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, or tasting room environments. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Passion for craft spirits and storytelling ability. Ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and foster a positive work environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of inventory management systems and point-of-sale operations. Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings. Compensation and Benefits Base salary ranges from $40,000 to $53,000 per year. Tips are earned from guided tours, supplementing your income.
