We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Wrightsville Beach, NC . Positions works closely with the Accounting Manager and is responsible for reconciliations, month-end journal entries and other accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, or a similar role in the accounting department, is required.
• Demonstrable proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Must possess skills in the 'Month End Close' process.
• Excellent mathematical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical abilities to comprehend and interpret financial data.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be ethical, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Certification as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred but not mandatory.
