A school-based opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support communication needs in an elementary school setting. This contract position spans the full school year, providing essential services to students and staff in Lancaster, SC.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with certification or equivalent credentials preferred
• Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly at the elementary school level
• Ability to facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, and support staff
• Strong understanding of classroom dynamics and sensitivity to the diverse needs of young learners
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
