Production Shift Lead (Night Shift)

MARATHON, WI

Description:

Job Type: Full time.

Shift Schedule: 2nd and 3rd Shift available (3p - 11p and 11p to 6a).

Salary: $23-25 / hr + Shift differential based on experience.

*Hourly incentive bonus earning up to an additional $2+ an hour*.

** Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for directing and regular monitoring of the shift performance and the communication/coordination of improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for safety initiatives, communication, and training of employees on respective shift.
• Communicate with production and maintenance employees regarding status of work flow.
• Responsible for yard and production activities as required by vacancies and other customer demand requirements.
• Other accountabilities and duties as assigned by Production Manager.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and team building competencies.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Will need to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and stand and sit for long periods of time.
• Will need to climb up and down stairs to get in and out of loader with no fear of confined spaces or heights.
• Requires the ability to do simple math calculations, use basic tools, and exhibit mechanical aptitude when conducting loader maintenance.
