Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive support on a leave contract from August 18, 2025, through November 14, 2025. This role serves K-12 students within a school setting, working Monday through Friday during school attendance days, from 7:25 AM to 3:25 PM. The position is based in Aurora, IL, with duties focused on supporting student communication needs under an FMLA leave coverage.

Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing individualized speech and language therapy for students across the K-12 spectrum. The SLP will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress in communication skills. Therapy can include direct intervention, teletherapy sessions, and consultative support in compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare and school environments
  • Familiarity with K-12 educational settings and processes
  • Ability to deliver teletherapy services proficiently
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
