JOB PURPOSE: Tempest Telecom Solutions is a leading provider of infrastructure equipment and services to major telecom carriers and network operators throughout North America. Our offerings encompass a diverse range of equipment, services, logistics, and repair programs and solutions.
Tempest is seeking a full-time Office Manager / Administrative Assistant to help facilitate company operations and efficiency.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Answering and directing incoming phone calls and incoming traffic.
· Maintaining all office spaces, including conference rooms, the kitchen, and meeting rooms.
· Managing building maintenance and repairs, and other issues that arise.
· Managing office and building supplies.
· Providing administrative support for the sales team and executive assistants.
· Special projects for the office and other duties as required.
· Performing administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing
calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
· Assisting with the preparation and distribution of reports and presentations.
· Handling confidential information with integrity and discretion.
· Telecom experience preferred, with the ability to assist in telecom-related tasks or projects.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
· A passion for delivering the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong customer service skills.
· Must have 4-5 years of administrative experience.
· Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
· Ability to work independently and efficiently.
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
· Ability to move and transport office supplies and materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
· Occasional bending, stooping, and reaching overhead to retrieve or store items.
· Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and printers.
· Ability to work in an office setting, with occasional tasks involving walking throughout the building.
