Job Title: Sr. Accountant
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Fully In-Office)
Salary: $75,000 – $100,000

A major oil and energy firm located in Brooklyn (Sunset Park/ Dkyer Heights area) is seeking a detail-oriented S r. Accountant to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to build their career in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports
• Support senior accountants with audits, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate records and assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3 + years of accounting experience (oil/energy sector a plus)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
