Jobs in this function provide medical transcription services directly to providers. This includes transcribing dictated information 
through the use of word processing to produce medical and clinical documents. 

This position is full-time . Employees are required to work during our normal business hours  of 9:00 am - 7:00 pm EST from Monday - Wednesday and 9:00 am - 4:00 pm EST on Thursdays .  Our office is located at 1130 US 1 Edison, NJ 8817.  

We offer 2 weeks of paid on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.  

Primary Responsabilities:

• Applies knowledge / skills to activities that often vary from day to day.
• Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function.
• Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests.
• Solves routine problems on own.
• Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems.
• Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines.
• Works with others as part of a team.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• knowledge of medical terminology

• Ability to work between the hours of 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST from Monday - Wednesday and 9:00 am - 4:00 pm EST on Thursdays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with transcribing

New Jersey Residents Only:   The hourly range for this is $16.54 - $32.55 per hour.  Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to  local labor markets , education, work experience, certifications, etc.  UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable .
