HPA Healthcare is seeking a CRNA Anesthesia for a locum tenens job in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Job Description & RequirementsProviders will join a large anesthesia care team practicing under 4:1 supervision with exposure to a full range of cases — including OB, thoracic, vascular, ortho, GI, ENT, and healthy peds. CRNAs perform spinals and epidurals independently and participate in an 8-week rotating schedule that includes optional night or weekend call.
\n\n Pay Ranking:
\n (Top 10% nationally) , this assignment offers one of the most competitive CRNA compensation structures in the Mid-Atlantic region (based solely on 2025 provider pay data).
Schedule: Full-time | 40–60 hrs/week guaranteed
\n\t\n\tShift Types: 8s, 10s, and 12s (primarily days; occasional nights)
\n\t\n\tOn-Call: 1 shift per 8-week schedule (night or weekend)
\n\t\n\tWeekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month (as needed)
\n\t\n\tHoliday: One required holiday per year | Paid 1.5x hourly
\n\t\n\tFloating: As required
\n\t\n\tTeam Model: 4:1 supervision with anesthesiologists
\n\t\n\tTravel: Billable; flights prepaid for full-time clinicians (one round trip per assignment)
\n\t\n\tOrientation: 8 hours (billable at standard rate)
\n\t\n\tCredentialing Timeline: 90–120 days
\n\t\nRequired Certifications: NBCRNA, BLS (AHA)
\n\t\n\tLicensure: Active Virginia CRNA license required (or in process at time of submission)
\n\t\n\tExperience: Minimum 2 years; must have Level II trauma experience
\n\t\n\tRequired: OB and Thoracic
\n\t\n\tPreferred: Pediatrics
\n\t\n\tMust be proficient in spinal and epidural anesthesia
\n\t\n\tNo nerve blocks required
\n\t\nProvide anesthesia services for all cases except transplants
\n\t\n\tManage OB, thoracic, and vascular cases independently
\n\t\n\tPerform and manage epidurals and spinals
\n\t\n\tParticipate in scheduled call and weekend rotations
\n\t\n\tCollaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing teams
