Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high-power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). What You Will Do: As a Laser-Punch and Press Brake Programmer, you will work with CNC machining, programming, and process engineering. You'll collaborate with leadership and fellow machinists to improve shop processes. This is an onsite role reporting directly to the Machine Shop Manager at our Everett, WA office.
You Will: - Work within defined machining processes to deliver on company milestones
- Set up, program, and operate CNC laser-punch and press brake machines to cut, bend, punch, and shape metal sheet according to drawings, part models, and specifications
- Work with design engineering to iterate and improve part manufacturability and design
- Improve part quality and cycle times through tooling and programming enhancements
- Specify, source, manufacture, and maintain punching and bending tools
Required Skills: - 3+ years of experience in programming and operating laser-punch and press brakes
- Experience with Trumpf laser-punch and press brakes and TruTops Boost Software
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design sketches, strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with GD&T and dimensional inspection

This is a non-exempt hourly role.
Hourly Pay Rate
$44-$56 USD
