HR & Benefits Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting employees and ensuring a smooth HR experience? We’re looking for an  HR & Benefits Assistant  to join our team and play a key role in administering employee benefits and providing day-to-day HR support. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s detail-oriented, organized, and excited to grow in the HR field.

Examples of Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate enrollment and changes for health, dental, vision, life, and retirement benefits.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions.
  • Assist with open enrollment, wellness initiatives, and leave of absence tracking (FMLA, disability, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate benefits records in our HRIS and ensure timely communication with vendors.
  • Support benefits billing reconciliation.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS data.
  • Prepare HR documents, reports, and employment verifications.
  • Help organize employee engagement and recognition initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR or benefits administration
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and basic employment law (FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA preferred)
  • Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
