Your Role

As Head of Accounting , you will be the senior accounting leader responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting across Entyre Cares U.S. operations.
Based full-time in our Boston office and reporting to the CFO, you will oversee all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger management, consolidation of multi-entity structures, technical accounting, audits, and compliance.

This is a handson, executiondriven leadership role ideal for a CPA with deep accounting expertise and a strong operational mindset who thrives in a highgrowth, missiondriven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations & Consolidation

  • Lead all accounting functions across multiple state entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP .

  • Oversee the monthend and yearend close processes, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations.

  • Implement standardized accounting practices and controls across entities to ensure consistency and integrity of reporting.

Technical Accounting & Compliance

  • Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations , including tax, audit, and reporting requirements.

  • Prepare and support external audits, ensuring proper documentation and timely responses.

  • Provide technical accounting guidance for new transactions and business activities (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting, capitalization, etc.).

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop regional accounting teams (10+ people), providing mentorship and technical guidance.

  • Build a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the accounting function.

Systems, Processes & Controls

  • Strengthen the internal control environment, ensuring effective segregation of duties and risk mitigation.

  • Drive automation and process improvements to accelerate close timelines and improve reporting accuracy.

  • Partner with the CFO and IT to enhance accounting systems and financial data architecture.

Financial Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership.

  • Translate accounting results into actionable insights for the CFO and executive team.

  • Support management reporting, board presentations, and key financial analyses.

  • CPA required or in the final stages of certification.

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters or MBA preferred).

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multientity or multistate operations.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP , internal controls, and audit procedures.

  • Handson experience with accounting systems.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
