Job Description Job Summary Camden is seeking a driven individual with strong attention to detail to join its team as a Risk Management Coordinator. Reporting to the Risk Manager, the Coordinator supports the department by performing general administrative functions and directly supporting department initiatives. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office.
Essential Functions - Assist with insurance renewal process
- Assist with processing insurance claims as needed
- Lead or support special projects as assigned
- Verify and update asset information in risk management information system
- Review, track, and maintain insurance and other department documentation
- Monitor vendor compliance in vendor credentialing system
- Arrange and coordinate department meetings
- Process invoice submissions and expense reports
- Perform quarterly contractor reconciliation reports
- Support implementation of risk control strategies
- Manage certificate of insurance requests
- Prepare quarterly reports for insurance brokers
- Track quarterly SOX-compliance documentation
- Oversee renter's insurance agency licensing program
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, or Insurance from an accredited university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and conceptual ability
- Strong sense of urgency and desire to do the right thing
- Multifamily development or management knowledge preferred
- Experience working with a Risk Management Information System (RMIS) preferred
- Property and casualty claims experience preferred

- Will use some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing

- May require long hours and odd schedules (including weekends)
- Position requires periodic travel by automobile to handle work-related activities
- May require airline travel, out-of-town and /or overnight trips
- Attendance and punctuality is essential for success in this position
- Hazards can be minimized with proper lifting techniques, SDS, general safety training, and wearing appropriate PPE
