Doug Anderson Plumbing and Heating is looking for a full-time General Operations Manager in Billerica, MA who's ready to make a real impact.

MUST-HAVES:

• 10+ years of leadership experience in service/trades industries
• Proficiency with Service Titan, Slack, RingCentral, Google Workspace, and Monday.com
• Ability to lead teams, manage systems, and improve operations
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Having 20+ years of total experience would be a huge plus for this General Operations Manager role!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Field Oversight: Supervise job quality, technician performance, scheduling, and inspections; resolve on-site issues and escalations.
• Operations Management: Oversee scheduling, permitting, job flow, fleet readiness, vendor relationships, and equipment management.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, support, review, and coach employees; cultivate a culture of accountability and communication.
• Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional service delivery and resolve escalated customer concerns; collaborate on long-term strategy improvements.

THE SCHEDULE:

• Core hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Availability for urgent matters outside core hours, including calls, texts, or system alerts
• Flexibility for high-volume periods, staffing challenges, or municipal scheduling

• $85,000–$118,000/year (DOE), with potential for performance-based bonuses
