About the Role:

Are you eager to learn new skills while getting your foot in the door? We're seeking a proactive Office Administrator to join our team. While you will be the first point of contact for our company, this is a unique opportunity for a sharp, hands-on individual to not only manage our front desk and admin tasks, but also to build valuable technical skills in CAD and programming .

In this entry-level position, you'll start with essential duties like handling incoming calls and managing daily office operations. However, this role is designed for growth. During downtime, you will have access to training labs and hands-on projects to learn technical skills that support our electrical engineering and project management teams.

This is a chance to get your foot in the door in the industrial electrical construction industry, learn from experienced professionals, and build a pathway for your long-term career.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the front desk, serving as the first point of contact for all phone calls and guests.

• Handle administrative tasks, including managing deliveries and general office organization.

• Learn and apply new technical skills through hands-on projects and training sessions. This includes:

  • AutoCAD for 2-line drawings and schematics.

  • Microsoft Office Suite software.

  • Programming software used in industrial environments.

  • Fundamentals of VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), Motor Control , and Relay Logic .

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic computer skills and a high comfort level with technology.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

• A strong interest in learning about the electrical contracting and construction industry.

• Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.

• A self-starter who is proactive, asks questions, and takes initiative.

• Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, with some availability for occasional after-hours and weekend work.
