It serves CGTN America, an award-winning news organization recognized for high-quality, objective news coverage. CGTN America functions as the Washington News Bureau for China Central Television (“CCTV”), which broadcasts multi-language news channels to over 100 countries, including the United States. About the Role We are seeking an Executive Producer for the Digital team at CGTN America. Responsibilities Oversee content production for all digital media output for CGTN America and CGTN. Create innovative content and products supporting future initiatives. Optimize content for social sharing to build an engaging digital audience. Liaise with the TV programming team and develop a creative production team. Establish effective workflows for the team. Manage overall vision, content, editorial planning, and daily operations. Oversee planning calendars and team schedules. Collaborate with other teams such as editors, reporters, digital producers, and guest bookers. Maintain confidentiality and data security. Support finance-related activities as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Candidate Requirements BA/BS degree in journalism, communications, or related field (preferred). At least 5 years of experience on news digital platforms. Minimum 3 years of management experience in digital production. Proficient in Photoshop and Premiere or similar software. Experience with website and digital platform development. Ability to multitask and adapt quickly. Strong writing and editing skills for web and digital content. Experience managing multiple social media channels. Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital trends. Interest in international news. Flexibility for shift work and holidays.
