About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to take on a pivotal role in defining the brand, building demand, and leading full-funnel growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for various aspects of the business, including features, partnerships, and content. This role involves a strong focus on brand elevation across multiple channels, leading content and community initiatives, and owning paid acquisition and performance. The CMO will also be tasked with scaling growth through cohort analysis, and A/B experimentation, and will be expected to partner closely with the product team to ensure alignment in launches and messaging. To excel in this position, the CMO should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in consumer app marketing, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building or repositioning a consumer brand, be fluent in content and editorial strategies, and possess deep experience in paid media and programmatic advertising. An analytical and data-driven approach is essential, as is the ability to execute with a startup mentality and a global perspective. The role offers the opportunity to work in a high-growth, fast-expanding category and requires a leader who can operate at the intersection of content, data, and product.
