Job Description
Warehouse Recycling Laborers
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM (occasional Saturdays, subject to business needs)
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
Must be 18+ years old
Requirements: Pre-employment drug test & basic background check
Job Description
Sort and separate recyclable materials from conveyor belt
Place materials in designated areas
Maintain clean work area and empty refuse containers as needed
Work safely around moving equipment in the recycling center
Wear required PPE (including 6” steel-toe boots)
Work Environment
Exposure to airborne dust and dirt particles
Varying temperatures (facility not heated or cooled)
Physically active role with frequent lifting, bending, and climbing
Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods in non-climate-controlled conditions
Comfort working in dusty environments
Frequent lifting (30+ lbs), bending, stooping, reaching, and stair climbing
Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and reflexes
Ability to remain alert, focused, and safe at all times
Capability to judge time, distance, and perform tasks requiring high cognitive function
