Job Description

*Job summary:*

Tri-Valley Crop Center is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a _*Full Time or seasonal CDL Class A *_ position in Sprakers, NY. We are looking for a self starter who takes personal accountability and pride in their work. Applicant must maintain a respectful and ethical work environment while staying _*SAFE!*_

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the loading and unloading of trucks, safe transport of products, assisting with the blending of fertilizer on occasion, the acceptance of deliveries from vendors, and deliveries to customers.

*Primary Responsibilities and Duties:*
* Transport of agricultural products safely from distributors, to plant, to the farm customer
* Assist in mixing and loading crop inputs
* Ability to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlook
* Knowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations (strongly preferred)
* Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and fellow employees
* Willingness to operate material handling equipment including forklift; order picker; pallet jack; and other equipment as required. Good mechanical knowledge and general ability to operate machinery
* Ability to bend and lift boxes and bags up to 50 Ibs.
* Comply with all safety and regulatory procedures outlines by Tri-Valley Crop Center
* Follow assigned routes and schedule for timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
* Provide general onsite support for other operational activities as determined by plant manager

*Requirements:*
* Valid Class A CDL with a good driving record and appropriate endorsements
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds
* Neatness, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
* Versatility; flexibility; and willingness to accept job tasks
