Job Title: Travel Plumber Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Plumber Mechanics and Leads to join our team at various job sites. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience for a mechanic role and a minimum of 5 years for a lead position. The work schedule typically runs from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional work on Fridays and Saturdays. The positions are located at Life Point Behavioral Center and Life Point Rehab in Lynchburg, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage small crews for plumbing projects.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings.
• Install and press copper, PVC, and cast iron pipes.
• Run crews consisting of mechanics and helpers.
• Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on various systems and equipment.
• Maintain clean work areas.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience for mechanic roles.
• Minimum 5 years of experience for lead roles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in installing and pressing copper, PVC, and cast iron pipes.
• Experience leading and managing crews.
• Must be able to work with hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Plumbers License preferred.
• Experience in commercial plumbing.
• Proficiency in working with cast iron, copper, and soldering.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynchburg, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
