Magnet Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Glendale, California.
Job Description & RequirementsMixed lab so will see both Cath Lab and IR procedures to include some of the following: L & R heart cath (interventional and diagnostic), EP studies, pacers, defibrillators, etc. IR procedures- PICC line placement, central lines, Swans, pleurovacs, stroke intervention, etc.Job Duties: Procedure set up, circulate procedure, administer sedation, monitor patient throughout the procedure, responsible for hemodynamic monitoring. Important to note Cath/IR lab functions with 3 person team which will require RN to be responsible to provide procedural sedation and hemodynamic monitoring. Hemodynamic monitoring is located outside of main procedure room in the control room. Control room includes a window so patient remains visible but will require nurse to float between procedure room and control room. Please verify traveler is comfortable with this process. Experience or 'Must have' skills: Mixed lab so will need Cath lab and IR experience to be successful. Must have 2 years previous experience. Prior travel experience preferred.
