Title : Technical Writer – II

Location : St. Paul, MN – 55117 ( Onsite )

Duration : 5 months

Target Profile : Entry to mid-level technical writer with SDLC understanding and 2–4 years’ experience

Core Responsibilities

• Documentation Development : Write, copyedit, and update software design documents, manuals, reports, and templates
• Change Management : Handle documentation-related changes; educate teams on quality system requirements
• Collaboration : Work with engineers, managers, and cross-functional teams to review and finalize technical content
• Project Coordination : Manage document status and reviews; track work in JIRA; monitor team inbox
• Content Architecture : Design and manage templates, internal wikis/websites, and workflows for consistency
• Information Management : Enter and manage software requirements databases and content libraries

Skills Required

• Writing & Editing : Strong technical writing and editing skills, consistency in tone and usability
• Tools/Systems : Familiarity with:
• JIRA
• Shared inbox management
• Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Process Knowledge :

• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Change Management
• Quality System Requirements (QMS, likely in a regulated industry like med device or software)

🎓 Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor's degree (field not specified, but technical writing, English, communications, or related is implied)
• Experience : 2–4 years of technical writing experience in an industry setting
• Desirable : Understanding of documentation workflows and cross-team communication in software environments
