Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to join our growing accounting practice. The Tax Manager will be responsible for clients’ personal and business tax preparation and compliance, financial statement preparation as well as managing and supporting accounting staff in bookkeeping and payroll functions. This role requires a thorough understanding of tax laws and regulations, strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and review tax returns, including income, sales, payroll and property tax returns.
• Provide guidance and support to staff on tax-related matters and financial reporting.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Manage tax audits and resolve any tax disputes with authorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent (EA) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, compliance, and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
