Responsible for answering incoming phone calls and providing a positive, professional first point of contact for patients and other callers. This role involves scheduling appointments and procedures accurately while obtaining and verifying all required information, such as insurance authorizations, eligibility, prescriptions, blood test results, and patient demographics. This role is expected to maintain a high level of customer service, ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures, and support seamless coordination of care through clear and respectful communication.
