Supply Chain Manager

This role requires on-site work in Bridgeport, MI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain good vendor relationships
• Develop and maintain metrics to track performance
• Direct and mentor supply chain and warehouse staff
• Identify and manage risk within the supply chain
• Review improvements in supply chain technology and processes including MRP
• Update vendor scorecard semi-annually and work to improve low scores
• Update and evaluate monthly reports
• Run monthly forecast meeting and stay on top of changing sales
• Freight negotiations and contracts
• Supplier negotiations and contracts

Skills Required

• 5 years of supply chain experience including management
• Effective negotiation
• Excellent organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Management and team development

Skills Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree
• Understanding of LEAN principals
