Substance Use Disorder Counselor (Serving African American Youth & Families) #948
The REAL (Recovery, Empowerment, Achievement in Life) Youth Addictions program provides culturally responsive alcohol and drug treatment for adolescent African American youth 12 to 18 years of age. The program includes outpatient, community-based treatment and mentoring.
The Substance Use Disorder Counselor provides substance abuse treatment services in outpatient and community settings. Responsible for assessment, treatment planning, provision of counseling (individual, family, and group) services, urinalysis, consultation with care providers and coordination of multiple service providers for his/her assigned client caseload; and for keeping accurate, timely records.
Location: This position is based out of LifeWorks NW's King Site.
Pay/Benefits : $23.92-$31.09 per hour with Full benefits.
Salary Placement Notice:
The posted salary range reflects the compensation potential for this role. Most candidates will be placed between the entry level and midpoint of the range, depending on their experience and qualifications. However, more seasoned professionals with extensive exact or similar experience may be considered for placement toward the higher end of the range. Final salary offers are made in alignment with internal compensation processes in accordance with Oregon Pay Equity laws.
