Salary Range ( based on experience ): $45,000 - $60,000

The Impact:

The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in supporting Sweetspot Brands' efforts to drive retail growth. Responsible for various tasks, including bookkeeping, revenue and expense recording, and accounts payable management, the Staff Accountant contributes to the success of our Accountant and Finance Department initiatives. The Role:

• Maintain general ledger reporting for retail locations in QuickBooks
• Accurately complete monthly bank reconciliations
• Process invoices into QuickBooks, track outstanding invoices, and ensure timely payment of invoices
• Process payments for retail location invoices via ACH/wire or physical check
• Manage, review, and process payments for employee expense reports
• Ensure accurate payroll reporting, maintain payroll records, process weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls for retail locations
• Record and complete sales tax returns for retail locations
• Record journal entries for daily revenue and expenses, month-end, quarter-end year-end processes, and adjustments
• Manage records and files for Human Resource and Accounting Departments

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, cusiness administration, or finance
• 2-3 years of accounting and finance experience
