Let’s keep it real – We’re not looking for a dev who just pushes pixels and ships themes. We’re after technically sharp, performance-obsessed Shopify Developers who know that every line of code either increases conversions or costs us money. You should know how to make Liquid sing, but also when to tell a designer “that won’t work on mobile.” You’ll be building lightning-fast Shopify stores and landing pages that don’t just look good – they convert hard. This isn’t just a “build what’s scoped” role. It’s a strategic seat on the performance team. You’ll be the engine behind launches, the fixer of bugs before they bite, and the person who can turn CRO ideas into real revenue results. You’ll build stores and LPs that get tested, optimized, and scaled fast. What You’ll Do Build custom, pixel-perfect Shopify themes from Figma files or from scratch Implement CRO changes directly into code (not just plugin installs) QA for bugs, UX snags, and page speed issues Integrate tracking tools (GA, Meta Pixel, etc.) and Shopify apps. Perform audits, fixes, and updates on existing stores Flag blockers early to keep launches moving A Performance-Minded Dev who treats every store like a testable asset A CRO-Coded Thinker who sees how structure, speed, and UX drive CVR A Fast Problem Solver who finds bugs, logs them clearly, and fixes them fast. A Collaborator who gives clean specs, asks thoughtful questions, and avoids surprises. Required Behaviors to Excel Flag missing assets or unclear scopes before they derail timelines Log bugs and own the fix, or escalate with clarity. Speak up when designs break best practices or load speeds. Balance speed with code quality – no spaghetti builds allowed Shopify + Liquid proficiency (custom theme builds, not just Dawn edits) App installation and optimization experience Tracking & data integrity across analytics tools (GTM, GA, Meta Pixel) Strong understanding of CRO principles (above-the-fold, CTA placement, UX flows) Required Experience 2+ years building and optimizing Shopify stores Experience improving CVR, load speed, and add-to-cart rates.
