/ Responsibilities

• Shopify Plus Development: Build and customize Shopify Plus websites according to client specifications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Theme Customization: Develop custom Shopify themes and modify existing themes to meet client requirements and brand guidelines.
• App Integration: Integrate and configure key Shopify apps across client sites, such as TapCart, Octane Quiz Maker, and PageFly Section Builder. Ensure integrations minimize site bloat and maximize functionality.
• Shopify Checkout Extensibility Upgrade: Lead the upgrade to Shopify Checkout Extensibility scripts as a priority across client sites, ensuring a smooth transition and enhanced checkout experience.
• Feature Implementation: Implement and optimize features like live shopping to enhance the user experience and increase engagement.
• Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing Shopify stores by removing unnecessary apps, refining templates, and improving site performance and user experience. Optimize Shopify websites for speed, SEO, and conversion rates, ensuring mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for existing Shopify websites, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our design, marketing, and project management teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations.
• Best Practices Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership on Shopify best practices, ensuring all development aligns with industry standards for performance, security, and scalability.

/ Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Shopify Plus Developer, with a portfolio of high-volume eCommerce sites, particularly those requiring advanced customization and optimization.
• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Shopify Checkout Extensibility scripts and custom checkout solutions. Strong understanding of Shopify theme development, including custom theme creation and optimization.
• App Ecosystem Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Shopify’s app ecosystem, with experience in integrating apps like TapCart, Octane Quiz Maker, and PageFly Section Builder.
• Performance Optimization: Demonstrated experience with performance optimization, including site speed, SEO, and user experience enhancements.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving performance issues.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Shopify Plus Experience: Expertise in Shopify Plus and its advanced features and capabilities.
• Advanced Analytics: Experience with advanced Shopify analytics and reporting tools.
• Theme Customization: Proficiency in advanced theme customizations and modifications.

/ Requirements

• 5+ years experience w/ Shopify Plus: Expertise in Shopify Plus & its advanced features and capabilities.
• 5+ years experience customizing Shopify themes: Expertise in creating and customizing themes using Liquid, CSS, HTML, React, and Javascript.
• Advanced Analytics: Experience with advanced Shopify analytics and reporting tools.
• Some Experience with Shopify Checkout Extensibility scripts 
• App Ecosystem Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Shopify’s app ecosystem, with experience in integrating apps like TapCart, Octane Quiz Maker, and PageFly Section Builder.

Job Type: 1099 Contract / part time position

Weekly Hours:10 – 20 hours per week, with options to increase hours when available

Compensation:Compensation will range from $60-$80/hour on contract, depending on experience

Location: Remote within the United States
