Job Title: Service Technician

\nReports to: Assistant Manager, Field Services
\nGENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
\nThe Service Technician position is responsible for providing customer service and maintenance functions to Loram customers within a specific region. Maintaining unit uptime to customer expectations is critical to customer satisfaction, railroad fuel economy, and railroad’s wheel/rail life.

\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
\nExperience: High School Diploma/ Equivalent
\nLicenses/Certifications: Maintain railroad safety training and certifications
\nAbility to obtain a CDL.
\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
\nEducation: Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical
\nExperience: 1+ years of Field service experience with customer facing role
\n2+ years working in a railroad environment, Field service, and Basic computer skills

COMPENSATION:
\nLoram determines compensation based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation.
\nStarting pay for the position is between $21.00 - $24.00.
