Job Description

829’s SEO Specialist role is a mid-level position on the Search Engine Optimization team. You will report directly to an SEO Manager and service a book of small to medium clients independently or in teams. An ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of SEO concepts, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for growth in a fast-paced digital marketing environment. Previous experience with search engine optimization is required, with a straightforward career path for advancement. What You’ll Do Audit websites for SEO Address technical issues Develop in-depth content strategies based on keyword and market research Write and implement SEO-optimized copy Optimize client-produced content for SEO Communicate directly with clients when necessary What You’ll Bring 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO Experience with WordPress, SquareSpace, or other CMS platforms Experience with SEMRush or similar tools Good understanding of Google Analytics Nice to have: Front-end development and/or HubSpot experience Benefits and Perks Remote Work: Option to work at our Boston office or remotely in specified states.
