Half days on Friday (based on a minimum 40-hour work week) Company investment of a minimum of 40 hours learning and development annually What you will do:: Development: Lead and manage the implementation and deployment of Salesforce solutions including planning, execution and post deployment validation. Configure and develop salesforce solutions using Apex and other relevant technologies. Provide technical support including troubleshooting and implementing solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, including the IS Business Relationship and Program Manager to understand business needs and translate them into function requirements Test and debug Salesforce solutions to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements. Develop API’s (Application Programming Interface) to integrate Salesforce to other solutions. General API development as needed. Develop and maintain documentation. Administration Optimize Salesforce performance, security and scalability. Build custom objects, fields, layouts, reports, dashboards and workflows. Support user and license management as needed. Ensure data accuracy, importing/exporting data and maintaining data integrity. Provide training to users as needed. Architecture Lead technical design sessions for data and development teams. Collaborate with the Data Architect to load data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Oversee data migrations as needed for acquisitions. Identify areas for improvement within Salesforce including use of Client Portal, Artificial Intelligence and other Salesforce modules. Assisting in developing the Salesforce roadmap . Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer or information science or a related field or acceptable combination of education, training and experience At least 7 years of experience working as a Salesforce Admin, Developer and/or Architect At least 2 years’ experience designing and developing APIs Advanced knowledge of Salesforce development tools, i.e. Apex Strong understanding of the Salesforce architecture, data model and best practices API Design and Development Ability to troubleshoot technical issues Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
