Job Description Position Overview: We are hiring a Full-time Security Officer for Central Community College in Columbus, NE. Job Details: • Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour• Schedule: Mixed Shift Available / Evening and Overnights• Duties: You will patrol the assigned areas on foot, or in another specialized vehicle to ensure the security of personnel, buildings, and equipment. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and security. Qualifications: • Experience: Prior Security experience preferred, but not required or customer service background• Skills: Comfortable using technology devices and possessing a valid driver's license. • Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, stand for long periods, and work in all weather elements.Join our esteemed team and honor your commitment to excellence. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
