Job Description

Our client is in the process of implementing SAP Ariba Cloud and requires an innovative, creative Instructional Designer/Facilitator to join the team to help with development and facilitation of comprehensive training materials and learning solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and facilitate hybrid learning materials (ILT, vILT, and eLearning) for SAP Ariba Cloud modules including Guided Buying, Guided Sourcing, and Business Network.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with SMEs to gather technical information and translate complex Ariba functionality into user-friendly learning materials.
  • Develop persona-based training curricula aligned with organizational change management strategy
  • Create quick reference guides, job aids, and documentation to support ongoing learning
  • Conduct training needs assessments and design appropriate learning interventions
  • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions as/if needed

Start Date: ASAP

Project Duration: 6 months ; 40 hours per week; 8am – 5pm CT; may need to support India hours for some meetings

Location (Virtual or Onsite): Hybrid (onsite/virtual); 4 days/week onsite in Dallas, TX for first few weeks, then 1 day/week onsite thereafter

Travel Requirements: approximately 20% travel for onsite facilitation in various US locations

Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of SAP Ariba Cloud modules (Guided Buying, Guided Sourcing, and Business Network) and procurement processes with recent experience creating training for such system
  • Experience delivering training in manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with OCM principles Strong Instructional Design skills for both ILT and eLearning
  • Experience creating persona-based training materials for enterprise software implementations
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles and various ID frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
  • Proven experience with authoring tools such as Vyond, Articulate, Camtasia, and MS Office to create engaging eLearning modules, video tutorials, and interactive content (Client will provide laptop, consultant needs to own licenses)
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with great presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills
  • Creative thinker with an innovative approach to learning design

The pay range for this project is $70.00 to $80.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
