Are you an experienced sales professional with experience in concrete sales? We are seeking a Sales Representative for our Ready-Mix business in DFW, Texas. If you are skilled at going out and gaining new business and building and maintaining relationships, we want to hear from you! 

You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders through proactive sales calls, project evaluation, and market analysis. You will monitor local market activity, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs, ensuring compliance with concrete specifications, and support business growth through effective communication, education, and process improvements.

What you will be doing

  • Build positive relationships with customers, prospects, and stakeholders by evaluating projects and preparing competitive bids
  • Conduct regular sales calls to understand client needs and identify new business opportunities
  • Grow and maintain our share of the local concrete market
  • Monitor local market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Collect and analyze territory intelligence, including permits, market size, and customer data to support sales targets
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and sales team members to review project specifications and ensure compliance with mix testing requirements
  • Partner with operations, dispatch, and sales teams to meet customer volume, delivery, and scheduling demands
  • Stay informed on local, county, and state concrete specifications and requirements
  • Deliver presentations to educate customers on concrete production and quality management
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and recommend process improvements based on feedback
  • Follow company policies and prepare accurate, timely reports as required

What we would like from you

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the concrete industry, preferably in a sales role
  • Diploma or undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Commerce, Sales, or Engineering
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present information to various stakeholders
  • Proven passion for customer service and a high standard of service delivery as demonstrated through the ability to successfully acquire new accounts and execute a sales plan
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to successfully manage priorities in a timely manner

Location and other key details:

  • This is a full-time permanent field-based position
  • The hours of work will be Monday to Saturday, totaling 40 or more hours per week
  • Travel to various job sites will be required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
