Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position
Location: Antrim, NH
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s Days
Pay: $2136/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric RN to provide specialized nursing care to patients experiencing mental health conditions. The RN will play a key role in patient assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention while promoting a safe and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and therapeutic interventions.
Monitor and document patient behavior, symptoms, and treatment responses.
Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and mental health professionals to develop care plans.
Support patients and families through education, counseling, and advocacy.
Ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all patients.
Respond effectively to psychiatric emergencies and crisis situations.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in NH
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification
COVID vaccine, TB test
Minimum 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
