Job Description:

  • Observing and/or interacting with various professionals related to the construction field including owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Attending staff/departmental meetings on an ongoing basis and any appropriate management or coordination meetings.
  • Completing, updating, and distributing project management communications of various types such as: meeting minutes, field reports, material and labor logs, inventory, and survey logs.
  • Assisting with the overall project management responsibilities including: account management, scheduling, estimating, budgeting and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
  • Assist in writing requests for proposals for potential clients.
  • Organize and understand construction software such as AutoDesk and Procore.
  • Assisting the team with requests as needed and other duties as assigned or requested by other departments.
  • Assist in developing project budgets and schedules, engaging architects, engineers, and other consultants necessary for the specific project. Assist in managing client's budget, schedule, and program. Prepare project communications and documentation. Satisfy client requirements, coordinate work efforts and review work performed to ensure quality work and client satisfaction.
  • Assist in managing large, complex projects or the simultaneous management multiple small to mid-size projects. Manage overall relationships with clients and have frequent and direct contact with the most senior level managers and executives to communicate status and provide direction.
  • Work with various disciplines and levels within the clients’ organizations - such as facilities management, information technology, executive personnel, administrative assistants, and their employees. Additionally, management will be required with other vendors including construction companies, architects, and engineers, building managers, IT consultants /vendors, and moving and storage companies.
  • Attend project meetings with Architect, engineers, client, consultant, and contractors. Document through meeting minutes and distribute accordingly. Inspect project progress in field and develop/distribute periodic field reports including digital images.
  • Interest in business development.

Recommended Qualifications and Skills:

Communication, organization, time management, proficient with the following software:

  • Microsoft Project for scheduling (as well as entire Microsoft Office suite)
  • Autodesk (or similar project management software such as Procore)
  • PlanGrid
  • Bluebeam
