Project Engineer

Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Engineer with expertise in wastewater systems to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary engineering team. This role involves planning, design, and oversight of wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and delivering sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support design efforts for wastewater treatment facilities , pumping stations, and collection systems.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analysis , process modeling, and equipment selection.
• Prepare engineering reports, plans, and specifications for municipal and industrial wastewater projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
• Provide construction phase services , including submittal reviews and site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations .

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline (Master's preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 5+ years of experience in wastewater engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software .
• Strong knowledge of EPA and state regulatory requirements for wastewater systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with nutrient removal technologies and advanced treatment processes.
• Familiarity with construction administration and commissioning.
• LEED or sustainability-focused project experience is a plus.
