Project Engineer **SIGN-ON BONUS**
Our Nuclear Division based out of Brea, CA is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team! As the Project Engineer, you will perform a variety of mechanical engineering activities related to the design and development of new and legacy nuclear reactor product development for our commercial nuclear power customers.
Location : Brea, CA (Hybrid)
Salary : $83,800 - $110,000

Your Challenge: \n - Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
\n \n - Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
\n \n - Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs.
\n \n - Write performance requirements for product development or engineering projects.
\n \n - Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
\n \n - Assist in developing the structural design of products, and provide feedback to design engineers on customer problems and needs.
\n \n - Design test control apparatus and equipment and develop procedures for testing products.
\n \n - Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
\n \n - Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
\n \n - Track project schedule and costs. Report schedule escapes and cost overruns to management. Estimate costs and submit bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects, and prepare contract documents.
\n \n - Establish and coordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule, and supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.

What You Bring: \n - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
\n \n - Minimum 2+ years experience in the design and development of mechanical products.
\n \n - Valve experience highly preferred.
\n \n - Exposure to fluid dynamics and hydraulics preferred.
\n \n - ERP software experience.
