Position: Hospitalist, Nocturnist OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital in Athens, OhioOVP HEALTH is actively seeking qualified Internal Medicine and Family Medicine trained physicians to help grow our hospital medicine programs in Athens, Ohio OVP is a physician and family owned group that practices in the southern Ohio region. Multiple contracts within the area allows for flexibility for providers to add extra shifts as needed. Our practice offers Hospitalists a supportive and rewarding inpatient practice environment. The program offers outstanding specialty support along with a "Team" like approach with the ER (same group). Very competitive compensation Avg 5 admissions nightly Admitting APP until midnight 48 hour a day physician (DAYS) and 48 hour a day mid-level coverage Open ICU (8 beds) Preferred procedures- A-lines, Central lines, Vent management (daytime pulm coverage and available for night call)Duties: See and treat patients by providing clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic hospitalist medical services consistent with accepted national standards. Perform related administrative services. Timely and accurately complete medical records regarding the assessment and treatment provided consistent with relevant policies and procedures. Timely and accurately complete all documents and records required to obtain payment for services provided to patients. May serve as supervising or collaborative physician for assigned Physician Assistants or Advance Practice Registered Nurses. 7 days on, 7 days off work schedule. Requirements: MD or DO, Ohio medical license, DEA license, and board certified or board eligible in internal medicine.OVP is a family-owned physician group practice company focused on the delivery of hospitalist and emergency department physicians.
