Personal Care Assistant

Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a fully cleared Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support an Intelligence Community (IC) client in northern Virginia. This is a rewarding and challenging opportunity with tremendous opportunity for someone with a passion for serving others and who enjoys supporting an important mission in the National Security arena.

In this role you will:

• Assist clientele who require assistance performing activities of daily living, i.e., hygiene needs, feeding, transporting in a wheelchair, escorting to vehicle and other activities as required,
• Assist with minor office duties to include, but not limited to, printing, faxing, etc.,
• Provide personal hygiene assistance throughout the day,
• Promote personal safety and a safe environment for assigned personnel,
• Perform other duties as required,
• Comply with established policies and procedures.

Required Security Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
• High School/High School equivalent and prior PCA experience
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs., and to assist with lifting and transitioning patients to/from wheelchair, chair, car, etc.
• Active PCA certification, or equivalent as approved by client
• Excellent verbal and communication skills

Desired Experience, Skills, and Education:

• Experience working for/with IC and/or DoD clients
• Experience navigating in a classified work setting
• 5+ years of patient care experience
