Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Unit (PRN Nights)

Location: Marietta, GA
Shift: PRN • Nights

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Pediatric Unit PRN Night Shift opening in Marietta, Georgia. This role is ideal for an RN who is passionate about providing high-quality pediatric care in an acute-care setting.

About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse functions as part of an interdisciplinary team, delivering safe, individualized, patient-centered care. The role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across multiple care disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide relationship-based, family-centered pediatric nursing care
• Perform assessments, create care plans, and evaluate patient progress
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in bedside shift reports, patient/family teaching, and care coordination
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Support quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor when needed
• Uphold nursing standards, policies, and ethical practice guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Education: ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
• Licensure:
  • Active RN license (Single-State or Multi-State Compact)
  • Current BLS certification
• Experience: Direct patient care experience preferred
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time-management and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency in basic computer and clinical documentation systems
