It is a Certified Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and a Level I Trauma Center, affiliated with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Matthew Walsh, MD Vice President of Clinical Services for NAPAs Midwest Region (IN, IL, MI)

Dr. Walsh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with expertise in cardiovascular anesthesia. He earned his MD from Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine, and completed his anesthesia residency there. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Illinois Society of Anesthesiologists.

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMC and FLEX certification
• Completion of approved anesthesia residency
• Current medical license

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Manage patients under anesthesia during surgeries and procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessments
• Obtain and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthesia options and risks with patients
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor physiological conditions
• Perform clinical interventions as needed

Total Rewards

• Salary: $600K
• Pediatric stipend: $50K
• Pediatric call: $900
• Sign-on bonus: $75K
