Industrial Painter Needed

We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team in a fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing finish work on industrial steel pieces, including stairs and railings. This role involves preparing and mixing paint to ensure a high-quality finish on the final products.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and mix paint for industrial steel pieces.
• Complete finish work on stairs and railings of steel.
• Operate machinery and equipment as required.
• Perform general labor tasks related to painting.
• Utilize sandblasting, powder coating, and spray gun techniques.
• Work in a paint booth to ensure product quality.

Essential skills:

• Industrial painting experience.
• Proficiency in paint preparation and application.
• Experience with machine operating.
• Ability to operate a spray gun and paint sprayer.

Additional skills & qualifications:

• Experience in a fabrication shop setting.
• Forklift operation experience.

Work environment:

Work is performed in a fabrication shop where you will be handling stairs, railings, and architectural pieces. The shift is from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Job type & location:

This is a contract to hire position based out of Bernalillo, NM.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
