Job Summary and Responsibilities 180 shifts per year (primary schedule 7 on 7 off) consisting of purely nights (6:00 pm - 6:00 am) Two nocturnists are assigned during these shifts, affording a manageable workload. In addition, there are 2-3 residents/interns in the team.Average admissions 17/night for the wholeteam. Primary responsibility is on-site adult (admit and cross cover) inpatient care.Superb inhouse subspecialty support. Magnet hospital - rarely need to transfer a patient out!
