Position: Full-time Nanny/Housekeeper (60 hours per week)
About the Family:
A warm and welcoming private family in East Village is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nanny/Housekeeper to assist with childcare and household management. The family values a nurturing, responsible, and proactive individual who can provide attentive care to their children while maintaining an organized and clean home environment.
Children:
4-year-old in Pre-K (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
18-month-old in daycare (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:30/7:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Prepare breakfast and get children ready for school/daycare.
Drop off and pick up children from school and daycare.
Engage children in activities, including after-school play and learning opportunities.
Take the son to extracurricular activities (music, soccer, etc.).
Assist with meal preparation, focusing on fish and vegetable-based meals for the family.
Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy home, including laundry and general housekeeping tasks.
Order household supplies as needed.
Assist with dinner clean-up and bath time if parents are still working.
Additional Details:
The home has regular house cleaners twice a week.
A friendly family dog is present about 50% of the time (no pet care required).
The family prefers someone who can teach a little, with Spanish-speaking skills being ideal.
Travel flexibility is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
$25-$30 per hour ($1500-1800 per week)
